We always need volunteers. You, your club, sports teams, group and organizations can volunteer with us. We have many activities ranging from very easy to others that require a strong back. The choice is yours. We need help doing things like:
- Sorting food
- Packing boxes
- Helping at food drives

Your Cash Gift
$1 = $6 of FOOD!
For every dollar donated we are able to distribute $6 worth of food. Cash donations allow us to get food through many different sources including bulk purchases, food drives and other food programs. Cash donations also let us purchase food that we need the most.
To make a cash donation, please mail this completed form with your donation to: Kawartha Food Share, P.O. Box 1413, Peterborough, ON K9J 7H6.
A tax receipt will be mailed to the address above for gifts over $10.

The food donations made by local residents every day have a very meaningful impact on our food supply. It is easy to donate food by dropping it off at any of these local grocery stores that kindly allow us to keep our green food barrels in their stores:

Charitable Tax Receipt for Food Donations
We can give Charitable Tax Receipts for food donations. Just bring in at least $10 worth of the non-perishable food listed below, along with your grocery store receipt and we will provide you with a Charitable Tax Receipt at the end of the year.
